According to Jackson, a transactional leader says, “How do we play better basketball?” and a transformational leader says “How do we become a better team?” Transformational leadership is about building something special and meaningful. To me, it’s getting very close to a purpose leader. No surprise, Jackson admires Martin Luther King, Franklin Roosevelt, and George Patton.
