Personal Life Story (Chapter 2)

If you’ve never had an executive coach, I’m sorry for you. [Tweet “A good coach can be a life and career changer”].

It’s part therapy, part “fitness” trainer, except that the fitness is related to who you are and your professional skills and abilities. Phil started me off by getting me to write down my own personal life story in great detail. How did I grow up? Where was I from? What did I like to do? What were the big events that happened to me along the way?

I wrote it all, from childhood and my school boy days in Athens, to my college life, early career, marriage, family, and my professional highs and lows. I mapped them out and dived deep in each period and every moment. It really helped me become aware of some essential things about myself.
