Acknowledging my knowledge gaps, am taking an on line course on Digital with ADBL.

However here is the flip side of analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence. It’s all about the type intelligence we use that might potentially lead to a “white guy” type of syndrome, discrimination and inequality. Classifying images of black people as gorillas is a recent example! It’s scary if you think that all these algorithms are usually being built and used by their developers as black boxes, for proprietary reasons and therefore such flaws might be difficult to discover.
